Captain Ken put us on fish that kept us busy the entire trip. Carter was awesome with the kids taking time to show them the proper way to drop the lines and then how to get the fish in the boat. One of the kids even caught a 45 lb black fin tuna and Carter coached him the entire time making sure he got the fish on the boat. Very friendly and professional. The boat wasn’t the biggest and shiniest in the marina but it was functional and the captain and first mate knew how to fish. Would recommend this trip to anyone.”

“Thank you Capt Ken and First Mate Vinney – what a wonderful-fun-exciting day. Your crazy if you don’t book your Fishing Trip with these two on “Just B-Cause”.. Booked for a Tues and Capt Ken called at 5:45 a.m. and asked if we’d like to wait until the following day because of rain showers in the area and Wednesday was forecasted as sunny . Florida weather changes every 12 hours I do believe—- We took him up on it and the 5 hour Deep Sea Fishing Trip was amazing. Thank you again, for changing our days. There were 8 of us and we went out 18 miles or so – Capt Ken found us a great spot and we started fishing—as fast as Vinney could take the fish off the hook – re-bait it and we could get the poles back into the water we had another fish. And Vinney had to do it all over again…. Vinney never stopped working – talking – and running from one pole to another and still kept us all entertained. Vinney was full of energy and he loves his job. Capt. Ken sure knew where the fish were… And I must ADD “The Girls” caught the biggest fish 🙂 and that’s NO fish story!! There were 8 of us fishing and when we pulled into the Destin Harbor we had a total of 110 keepers and we probably fished 2 1/2 hrs. I think we threw back just as many as we caught. So it was like every minute Vinney was pulling a fish off one of our lines. It was just unbelievable – what a great – great time we had. One piece of advice – bring some motion pills with you – as two of us got a little queasy but took a motion pill and very shortly felt normal again. We took pictures when we got back to the Destin Harbor and had a lot of onlookers at the amount of fish we brought in. Vinney cleaned them all and bagged them up – he never stopped—what a catch—we had fish for the next two days at the condos and brought a huge cooler home with us. Looking forward to a few fish fry’s this summer with the family. Thank you again Capt Ken and Vinnie and wishing you a entire booked summer on the “Just B-Cause” —- We totally recommend you to everyone…….without hesitation…..just because we had a great great time…..YOU WILL HAVE NO REGRETS—BOOK WITH “JUST B-CAUSE” because we said so…. (Also if you have children they would have a great time – they are very family orientated, too) —We didn’t take my 6 year old grandson – but looking back we should have – he would have loved it)

We went down to fish in the Destin Fishing rodeo this past weekend and Just B Cause was the obvious choice for many reasons. This was not my first time on the boat. I also took young boys and another adult fishing in April and the experience was fantastic as well.

Captain Ken will do everything possible to put you on the fish and is more than willing to mix it up if that is what you’d like. We trolled for tuna, King mackerel, and other pelagic. We bottom fished for grouper, snapper and anything else on the reefs. Then I asked if we could try for some sharks the crew didn’t hesitate and rigged a rod for sharks within minutes. Capt. Ken and his crew are aimed to please and do an amazing job doing so. I have been on many charters around the world and Just B Cause is top notch. There were hundreds of anglers in the tournament this weekend and we ended up winning the largest red grouper category and placed second for blackfin tuna. We wouldn’t have been on the leaderboard without Capt. Ken and his crew. The entire trip was a blast and the cooler was full of great eating fish for everyone.

Our trip back in April was just as good. I walked on the boat with the kids and Capt. Ken immediately asked me what was I looking to catch. I told him that I wanted the kids to get a lot of action and catch a lot of fish. Well, he nailed it. The boys were pulling fish up like crazy. Trigger, red snappers, mingos and to top it off, a HUGE red grouper caught by my 13 year old. We still talk about that fish to this day.

I just booked my Condo for the Oct. 2016 Destin Rodeo and already told Capt. Ken that I want to fish of Just B Cause. Highly recommend this boat and its awesome crew.
